Our Story
Why PupVoice exists
PupVoice started with a simple frustration. The internet is full of dog content, but very little of it actually helps dogs. Viral clips with no follow-up. Sad photos with no way to act. Headlines that get the facts wrong. Meanwhile, shelters stay full, and the stories that could change minds go untold.
So we built the publication we wanted to read, one that treats dogs as a beat worth covering seriously, with reporting, verification, and a point of view.
Today, PupVoice is a growing community of dog lovers across the US, the UK, and Canada with readers who send us their own dogs’ stories, and who turn reading into adopting, fostering, and speaking up.

How we work
Trust is the whole product. These are the rules we don’t break — for readers, for rescues, and for the dogs.
True stories only
Every rescue story is verified before it runs — with the rescue organizations, the original reporting, and the people involved. If we can’t confirm it, we don’t publish it.
Hard truths, told with purpose
We don’t publish suffering for clicks. When we show you something painful, it’s because there’s something you can do about it — and we tell you exactly what.
Corrections, not cover-ups
When we get something wrong, we fix it fast and say what changed. How we source, verify, and correct our work is spelled out in our editorial policy.
Independent, always
Advertising keeps PupVoice free to read, but advertisers never see stories early and never shape what we cover. The details live in our advertising disclosure.
